Liz Ficalora has over 35 years of musical experience as a teacher, clinician, performer, producer and engineer. She earned a bachelor degree from the Berklee College of Music majoring in Music Education and minoring in performance and composition. Liz is a certified K-12 instrumental and vocal instructor. She has extensive training in the development of music programs for drums and piano students designed to guide them towards accomplishing their goals as they grow into successful musicians. Her teaching method includes progressive technique study, theory, notation and music reading skills. Liz teaches beginner to advanced levels in both drums and piano.

Liz has authored two instructional books for drummers, “How to Write a Fast and Easy Drum Chart”, “Basic Method and Advanced Method” that teaches drummers how to chart out a song. She is an award winning jingle writer, and has extensive experience touring the world with Stella Parton and Carnival Cruise Lines playing the drums, singing backup vocals, and arranging music.
